Campaigning for affordable warmth in the city of York

The Hotspots project aims to help vulnerable residents in the City of York to achieve warmth, comfort and safety in their homes.

Do you or does someone you know...

♦ Have difficulties with paying energy bills?
♦ Have a cold, damp, draughty home?
♦ Need advice on benefits or entitlements?
♦ Worry about fire risks in the home?

If so help is available, call the Energy Saving Trust advice centre quoting “Hotspots” on: 0800 512 012

The project is run by The Energy Partnership and unites organisations including the NHS, The Pension Service, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and City of York Council.

Hotspots allow cross referrals to be made between organisations, ensuring residents get the help they need to make their homes warm, comfortable and safe.

Residents can be referred for heating and insulation advice possibly leading to grant applications, benefit checks to maximise income and home fire safety checks to minimise fire risk.
