Cycle relay - Snaith to Hull

Six of us (and Sophie the support officer) cycled from Snaith to Hull on the 24th of June as part of a coast-to-coast relay with 2 other Energy Saving Trust advice centres. All together the centres covered almost 200 miles.

The bike ride aimed to promote Sustrans route 65, which we discovered is a beautiful route, well-signposted and which largely avoids the traffic.

Here is quote from Sophie our transport coordinator which neatly sums up the days events:

I’d like to say, well done to all who took part.  Many lessons were learnt from the day such as Jenny can’t read maps, Amy needs more cushioning on her bottom, James is all talk and no action, I am brilliant at driving a transit van, and Stephen is an unstoppable machine.

I hope to do something bigger and better in the future so will keep you posted.

Well done guys
